A broad viewscreen takes up most of one wall; the communications officer sits up alertly from her station to one side, and in the back, the jump pilot relaxes beneath the heavily wired helmet, trancelike, at one with the ship. Front and center, an empty chair.

Tactical Room

From here, a splittable holovid screen can monitor telemetry from ships and personal battle armor, allowing pinpoint control of widespread elements of battle from any of the tactical stations. A communications officer provides more vital links with the rest of the crew.

Drop shuttles line the bay, bristling with weapons and shielding; wide hatch doors wait beneath each one, ready to open for a screaming drop into a planetary atmosphere.

Engineering Bay

An overhead light bar illuminates the broad area, with conduits and workstations arrayed along the walls. A first aid kit rests prominently in a recess -- accidents happen, but the ship must go on.

Captain's Cabin

A neat, soldierly space, with personal items stowed out of sight in latched cupboards. Station chairs are clamped to the floor by a small table and comconsole; a vast assortment of weapons hangs on one wall and a washroom door is outlined on the other. The reading lamp is a relic, made out of a slagged helmet. A neatly made bed is visible in the back.

Armory

Racks of plasma rifles line the walls, safe at null charge until prepped for combat; other weapons and armament gleam in harnesses or rest in secure clips, while heavy ordnance is padded and locked. Further down, gleaming suits of scarred battle armor stand ominously in their clips.

Bel is currently out-of-game.

Untracked post: Cargo Holds

A series of holds, tracked by number, containing both ship's supplies and cargo in transit. Pallets and canisters are fastened securely to bulkheads, to prevent shifting while in flight, and individual loading hatches allow quick provisioning and a speedy exit.
